What we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how to have it removed. Written to be read, not to be survived.

This notice describes how the website is currently built. Before publishing, have it checked by a qualified adviser against India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act and — if you take enquiries from the EU or UK — the GDPR. It is a starting point, not legal advice.

Who we are
SKI (“we”, “us”) is a software and engineering company based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. For any question about this notice or about information we hold, contact mukeshpm@innovatesbyski.com.
What we collect
Only what you type into the enquiry form:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your organisation, if you provide it
- Your phone number, if you provide it
- The category of work you selected
- The message you wrote
We do not ask for, and you should not send, financial details, identity-document numbers or passwords through this form.
What we do not do
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It runs no analytics platform, no advertising pixel and no session-recording tool. We do not build a profile of you, and we do not sell, rent or share your details with anyone for marketing.
If we add analytics in future, this notice will be updated before it goes live and a cookie choice will be presented at that point.
Why we use it, and on what basis
Solely to read and answer your enquiry, and to continue the conversation if it turns into a project. The lawful basis is your voluntary submission of the form and our legitimate interest in responding to a business enquiry. You are never opted into marketing by contacting us.
Who processes it
Your enquiry is handled by SKI. Three third parties are involved in delivering this website, and it is fair that you know about them:

If the form's delivery service is not configured, the form instead opens your own email application — in that case nothing is transmitted to us until you press send in your own mail client.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 24 months. Where an enquiry becomes a project, correspondence is retained for the life of that engagement and for as long as we are required to keep business records afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email mukeshpm@innovatesbyski.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge and you do not need to give a reason.
Client project data
Where SKI builds and operates a system for a client, any personal data inside that system belongs to the client. We act on their instructions, under the terms of the relevant agreement, and we do not use client operational, financial or customer data for any other purpose — including as material for this website.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry contents are transmitted encrypted. Access to enquiries is limited to the people at SKI who need it in order to reply. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information through a web form.
Changes
If this notice changes materially, the updated version will be published here with a new date. Continuing to use the site after that means the current version applies.
